Summary: The tree means death. For the tree, in the Jewish law, to be hanged on such a tree, brings a curse. The tree associated with curses brought salvation to many. It is in the cursed tree that God brought mercy to us all. The plan was formed in the beginning of eternity and followed through by the Son of God. The plan was brought to us all, according to Gods grace and mercy. It is through this we have hope today.

The bent tree was a silver grey. There were no leaves on it and the vast expanse of the white hot prairie was in the distance. Several buzzards were circling above. Off to the side of the tree, a skull with horns laid bleached white from the daily exposure to the sun.
From one branch, hung a partial piece of an old rope, discolored and frayed, it stood as a testimony to what had happened there many years ago. This was the old west hanging tree. This was where old fashioned justice was meted out, sometimes by people who did not know what true justice was. Their motive was only one of vengeance.

As is the case in most societies, there are visible signs of past injustices. Man at his best still has trouble really knowing the true right or wrongs in life. For many, simply being good is their aim. This winds up coming short of their own mark, as many cannot fulfill their own desires or aims. They simply lack the ability and power to follow a corrective course. Ever since man roamed the world, an outcast from the Garden of Eden, the search for real truth and justice has been on.

For one society, truth is what they perceive it to be. While yet another may follow some holy book or tradition handed down. Man at his best, brings religion and traditions to the table. This, for many, is the way that truth is meted out and justice is formed. When people then violate the laws of the society or traditions of men, justice is given to the offenders. Many times, this justice is not justice at all, but pure vengeance for not following the man made traditions that have formed the society they live in.

Such was the case when another came upon the scene in the occupied lands of Israel. Rome was the justice, and mans tradition was followed closely as the Jews religious leaders fiercely controlled the masses. Working close with Rome, the religious leaders could work their strong opinions on the system of the Roman Empire. This system tolerated religious and mythical religions as long as it did not pose a threat to Rome’s stability.

At this time, Rome had conquered the world. They brought some stability and safety, roads, transportation, commerce, and one common language among many things. It was into this world that the Son of God was born of a virgin.

In the temple at Jerusalem, a man ministered unto the Lord. This man was called Simeon a very just and devout person. He had been waiting for the ‘consolation’ of Israel. That is the one who would come to save Israel and fulfill the covenant promised by the Lord God. This ‘consolation of Israel” would be the fulfillment of the covenant of Abraham and the one whom the prophets spoke about. Simeon was shown by the Holy Ghost that he would not see death until he had seen the one whom the scriptures spoke about.

It was one day among the many Simeon had spent before the Lord. Then there was the one whom the scriptures spoke. After the days of the purification of Mary according to the law of Moses, Joseph and Mary took Jesus to the temple. They were going to offer a sacrifice of a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons. It was then Simeon, who came by the Spirit into the temple, that Simeon took the baby Jesus up in his arms and blessed God. It was then Simeon spoke and prophesied of Jesus:

Luke 2:29  Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:
30  For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,
31  Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;
32  A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.
33  And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.
34  And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;

This event was unique in all history and in the eternal realm of the Lord God. For at no other time had God, gave up all his glory, so he could come in the form of flesh to be the Savior of mankind. It was the Lamb, the Son of God, blameless, fulfilling the law who would die for the sins of man. This baby was the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world (Rev 13:8). This was Gods masterpiece of design to bring sinful man back in relationship to God. It was Christ, who would redeem man from the curse of the law. It was Christ who would die on a tree, being made a curse, taking on our guilt and penalty for sin.

Galatians 3:13  Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

It would be his blood which would be shed for our sins, bringing us back to the Father. It would be Christ who died upon the tree, who was placed in a burial chamber, and then three days later rose from the dead. It was Christ who was seen of over five hundred people, being made witnesses to the resurrection from the dead of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Romans 5:15  But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

The tree stained by a curse associated with hanging, hung the sinless Son of God. He could have called out to the angels standing by to rescue him, but he did not. He could have overthrown mans court and justice, but he did not. He could have escaped, saving his own life, but he did not. He submitted himself to the plan of the Father, so that you and I could be saved. Thus, the cursed tree became the mercy tree that day. The mercy tree brought you and me the hope of God, which is being justified not by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ.

Galatians 2:16  Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

To this fact, the early Apostles lived, breathed, and died in the faith of Christ. This faith was resolute and steadfast. For these men and women saw the Son of God and were witnesses to the fact of the event.

Acts 5:30  The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
Acts 10:39  And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:

It was to the blessing of God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who brought us into the abundant mercy we have today. This mercy is a living hope, which is the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. We who were not the people of God, and had not obtained mercy, now are the ones who have obtained mercy. We are the people of God, according to the Faith of Christ.

1 Peter 1:3  ¶Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1 Peter 2:10  Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

Have you obtained mercy at the Mercy Tree? If not, I encourage you to find this mercy. It is a gift for you. A gift that was not free. A Gift that cost the Son of God his life, his suffering, and his dedication to the Fathers will. Are you willing to follow this Son of God? Are you willing to make him both Lord and Savior?

1 John 5:20  And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

Citizens Rule Book is an anonymously written short manual about the rights of juries in the United States. The author of the Rule Book argues that jurors have the right to nullify a trial if the jury members disagree with the law of which a defendant has been accused. The book is popular among tax protesters and members of the Christian Patriot movement.

The Citizens Rule Book is divided into three sections. The first section deals with the rights of juries, the second section discusses the alleged views of American founders regarding jury trials, and the third section summarizes important founding documents of the United States.

The Bill of Rights

I. Religious freedom, both to an establishment as well as the free exercise thereof; freedom of speech, press; right of petition.
II. Right to bear arms.
III. Quartering of soldiers.
IV. The right to privacy and security against unreasonable searches and seizures: search warrants.
V. Grand Jury, double jeopardy, no one must witness against himself, no loss of life, liberty or private property without due process.
VI. Speedy and public trials, impartial jury; nature and cause, right to confront; compulsory witnesses, assistance of Counsel – (note: does not say attorney.)
VII. Right to trial by jury according to the rules of common law – (note: Ten Commandements are the foundation of Common Law.)

IX. Rights beyond Bill of Rights belong to the people.
X. Undelegated powers belong to the people unless given by the people to the states.

U.S. Secretary Rice to Hold Trilateral Summit with Olmert and Abbas Monday in Jerusalem

Talks Will Focus on P.A. Unity Government and its Rejection of Quartet Conditions

United States (U.S) Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will convene a trilateral summit in Jerusalem tomorrow, Feb.19th, with Israel’s Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian Authority (P.A.) President Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen).

This will be the third time Olmert and Abbas have met in recent months. [See below]

The meeting comes 11 days after Fatah and Hamas signed the Mecca Agreement, which details the formation of a Palestinian unity government, following weeks of bloody Palestinian infighting in Gaza that left scores dead, hundreds wounded and caused millions of dollars in damage to infrastructure. [1]

Talks between Israel and the Palestinians broke down after Hamas took power in January 2006. In addition, members of the international community sanctioned Hamas, a designated terrorist by the European Union, [2] the United States, [3] Israel, [4] Canada [5] and Australia. [6] Hamas receives support from Iran, as does Hezbollah, which began a war with Israel this past summer.

The Quartet – U.S., European Union (E.U.), United Nations (U.N.) and Russia – is the international observer body commissioned to mediate between the two sides, [7] which stipulates three conditions for the P.A. government to recieve international aid: Recognition of Israel, renouncing terror (including the return of kidnapped Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit) and honoring previous peace agreements. [8]

Even though Hamas and Fatah express confidence in the Mecca Agreement, the new unity government does not recognize the State of Israel. [9]

Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni said on Feb. 17th, at a press briefing with U.S. Secretary Rice that “It is crucial to understand that Israel and the international community expect any Palestinian government to meet these requirements fully and completely. These requirements are not an obstacle to peace, but they are the basic conditions and the foundation for the vision of a two-state solution.” [10]

Monday’s meeting will discuss the validity of the unity government. [11]

Background and Key Facts

Some skepticism of the new P.A. government emerged recently because after signing the Mecca Agreemen, Hamas’ political posture towards Israel did not evolve and the movement did alter its radical Islamic platform. [12]

Uncertainty for Hamas’s compliance to the Mecca Agreement can be traced to past Hamas deal-breakers [See below].

The Palestinian daily Al-Quds has already reported that Hamas is manipulating the conditions agreed upon at the Mecca Conference. [13]

In addition, Hamas refuses to give up its Security Force, which was first led by wanted terror chief Jamal Abu Samhanda. [14] Hamas also demands dozens of key supports be appointed to numerous civil service positions, while salaries of previous government employees remain unpaid. [15]

Damascus-based Hamas leader, Khaled Mashaal, said in interviews that the conversations in Mecca did not change his movement’s policy. [16]

Hamas’s West Bank and Gaza Strip representative claim that the topic of Israel’s recognition never emerged in the talks. Gaza spokesman Ismael Radwad said that “We [Hamas] didn’t, we don’t and we won’t recognize the arrogation by Zionist Jews of our homeland.” [17]

Once again Hamas will take the leading role in the new administration to be formed within weeks. Nearly a dozen Hamas ministers will control key political posts and Fatah, however, will only be represented by an estimated seven ministers. [18]

Israel and the United States have confirmed that they are ready to return to the negotiating table, [19] but there will not be a real chance for lasting peace unless the new P.A. unity government adheres to the Quartet’s three conditions.

A recent public opinion poll commissioned by The Israel Project demonstrates that although there is public support for a two-state solution, rather than create a Palestinian state now 60 percent of Americans believe “There should not be a Palestinian state until Palestinian leaders end terror and recognize Israel’s right to exist.” Only 25 percent agreed “it is important to create a Palestinian state now .”

The fact, however, is that Israel wants peace – and has been pushing for a Palestinian state that would exist.

The Quartet emphasizes that they will watch closely and only “…support a Palestinian government committed to nonviolence, recognition of Israel, and acceptance of previous agreements and obligations, including the Roadmap.” [20] This is partly because the Mecca Agreement clearly avoids addressing the Quartet’s requirements.

Also, Gaza-based Hamas militants recently underwent military training in Iran and receive financial backing from Tehran. [21]

Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), another strongly-supported Palestinian militant group, expressed its willingness to cooperate with the new P.A. unity government. PIJ spokesman said that “The Islamic Jihad will support the new government so that it can succeed in its task.” [22]

The movement’s leader, Ramadan Abdullah Mohammad Shallah, is listed on the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (F.B.I) website as one of the “Most Wanted Terrorists.” [23] A $5 million dollar reward has been offered for his capture under the Rewards for Justice Program.

PIJ’s violent military wing, Sayeret Al-Quds Brigades, have been responsible for firing most of the Qassam rockets from Gaza into Israel.

Iran also provides PIJ with an estimated $2 million in state-sponsored funding to PIJ annually. [24]

Previous Abbas-Olmert Meetings

June 22, 2006 – Petra, Jordan
Promises are made to set up a more substantive meetings in the future, however because Abbas is not the acting Prime Minister and only the president of the Palestinian Authority, the meeting was kept informal. [25]

December 23, 2006 – Jerusalem, Israel
Follow-up to Petra. The two leaders discussed advancing the peace process, continued violations of the ceasefire agreements by Qassam rockets fired from Gaza by militants, prisoner release and frozen Palestinian funds. PM Olmert released $100 million, entrusted to Abbas’ P.A. leadership and discussed possiblity of releasing prisoners. [26]

A Hamas History of Broken Promises

In two previous instances Hamas maintained that a unified consensus by the Palestinian leadership would aid the Palestinians’ dire financial condition and strengthen their political isolation. However, either attempt never revealed any results. The last attempt at ensuring a national unity government, in September 2006, nearly brought the Palestinian territories on the brink on civil war.

Sept. 2006 – National Unity Government Talks
As in the case of the two prior negotiated agreements between the Palestinian factions, Hamas will remain at the head of the P.A. and will continue to reject the Quartets conditions. [27]

Summary:
There is coming a war this spring and many experts are looking at this right now. With the furvor of this upcoming war, the talk is getting serious. The trouble with this coming war there is little the American people can do to stop it. There is a threat, so says our leaders and they will spill every drop of blood they need too in order to stop the threat.
The problem is, the blood is that of innocent people, and that of our sons and daughters.
This time it is coming to America.

Many people have mention that they thought from the start our President George Bush intended to attack Iraq all along. The evidence today points to the fact that it was far from just Iraq, and looks to the nation of Iran as a potential target. The New Yorker magazine, in an article on the possibility of war with Iran, mentions that the White House views the President of Iran as another Hitler. With this view, there is real potential for a war with Iran.

There is a growing conviction among members of the United States military, and in the international community, that President Bush’s ultimate goal in the nuclear confrontation with Iran is regime change. Iran’s President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has challenged the reality of the Holocaust and said that Israel must be “wiped off the map.” Bush and others in the White House view him as a potential Adolf Hitler, a former senior intelligence official said. “That’s the name they’re using. They say, ‘Will Iran get a strategic weapon and threaten another world war?’ ” [newyorker.com/fact/content/articles/060417fa_fact]

Further, the New Yorker quotes a military planner who said that “in my view, if you had to name one nation that was his (George Bush) focus all the way along, it was Iran… [newyorker.com/fact/content/articles/060417fa_fact]

There is no doubt that this President and those who share power with him, surely will go to war. They have invaded Afghanistan, Iraq, and now Iran is on the marker. The words coming from Iran don’t help any. As a matter of fact, the words help seal the deal for most Americans. We are told plainly by our President “If Iran escalates its military action in Iraq to the detriment of our troops and/or innocent Iraqi people, we will respond firmly” George Bush, in an interview with National Public Radio [guardian.co.uk/iran/story/0,,2010086,00.html]

That leaves little doubt as to whether we will go to war. The President of Iran believes the Madhi, the Islamic Messiah will arrive in the spring and he has said so. With the teachings of this Madhi come the future visions of Islamic war with the brutal invader and chief rival of the devil. Of course, this refers to all unbelievers against this regime in Iran. If we are waiting for Iran to quiet down, we are in for a very long wait. There is no doubt; they will chomp at the bit to have it out with us. The question remains whether Russia and China will keep sitting still for the American taste for bloodshed and war. No doubt, if our invading continues, these countries will attack us.

Planning is going on within the walls of the White House rooms and in Washington D C. A Washington based intelligence analyst named Vincent Cannistraro, was quoted by the Guardian in an article saying: “Planning is going on, in spite of public disavowals by Gates. Targets have been selected. For a bombing campaign against nuclear sites, it is quite advanced. The military assets to carry this out are being put in place.”
He added: “We are planning for war. It is incredibly dangerous.” [guardian.co.uk/iran/story/0,,2010086,00.html]

In another article posted by Arab American news, John Pilger wrote in his article “Iran: The War has already begun” saying the attack on Iran is due by spring. This backs up the news stories, and analysts who are saying the same thing. War with Iran in the spring is not a certainty, but is likely. The attack, said author Pilger will be one of a catastrophic nature. He comes to the conclusion as others who all say that “tactical nuclear weapons” will be used.

The one piece of “solid evidence” is the threat posed by the United States. An American naval build-up in the eastern Mediterranean has begun. This is almost certainly part of what the Pentagon calls CONPLAN 8022-02, which is the aerial bombing of Iran. In 2004, National Security Presidential Directive 35, entitled “Nuclear Weapons Deployment Authorization,” was issued. It is classified, of course, but the presumption has long been that NSPD 35 authorized the stockpiling and deployment of “tactical” nuclear weapons in the Middle East. This does not mean Bush will use them against Iran, but for the first time since the most dangerous years of the cold war, the use of what were then called “limited” nuclear weapons is being discussed openly in Washington. What they are debating is the prospect of other Hiroshima’s and of radioactive fallout across the Middle East and central Asia. Seymour Hersh disclosed in the “New Yorker” last year that American bombers “have been flying simulated nuclear weapons delivery missions . . . since last summer.” [arabamericannews.com/newsarticle.php?articleid=7485]

The war that is coming is not the same as one with Iraq. This nation has been building up their jihadists for years. With the failure of the Bush administration to secure our borders, there is a certainty we have Iranian agents already in place in America. This is one part of the equation that most Americans have never faced. That is nuclear terror, bombs, and death on our own streets. From the corridors of the White house to the plains of Texas and beyond, we have people in our nation that will use these devices. All they are waiting for is the day of the Mahdi and jihad.

Steve Emerson was the first American journalist to document in chilling video format the militant Islamic support networks and terrorist groups secretly operating on American soil. Counter-terrorism officials from the National Security Council, Justice Department, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) have acknowledged that Emerson’s documentary demonstrated that he had more reliable and accurate information about the secret terrorist networks on American soil than the US Government. There have been many reports of the Islamic Jihadist sleeper cells in the US. Only the terrorists know for sure. We can know this, our borders have been unsecured, and as a result, many enemies could have gotten through.
With the war in Iran, many say this will be an air campaign, which is another word for no need for troops. This we know is false. For you cannot secure anything without troops. Some say that the opposition party in Iran will step up to the plate, but how do we know this. One thing for sure is, Americans will pay the price. More blood will flow, and this time, the war will come to our shores.

Add to this the need for energy and you have real trouble. There is no doubt that the price of oil will surge as well. I have seen estimates ranging from ninety dollars a barrel to two hundred and fifty dollars a barrel for oil. According to the head of the National Security Foundation and Center for Asian studies, Peter brooks, this price could increase to Two hundred dollars per barrel. This was reported by Regnum online. They stated, quoting Peter Brooks the following:

If war begins in Iran, oil price can increase up to $200 per barrel. Head of the National Security Foundation and Center for Asian Studies, Peter Brooks declared it during a round table in Washington. Answering a question, to what extent the situation of beginning military actions with US participation in Iran is real, Brooks said, it could not be excluded but, at first, the existing problem should be resolved at negotiating table. At the same time Brooks’s added, military actions in Iran will differ from Iraqi ones, because the Iranian army is better trained and armed, reports RSN. [regnum.ru/english/590585.html]

Either way, our nation always seems to want to go to war. The problem this time is that the war will make the American public pay more than ever before. We have gone through wars and never have seen the carnage as in WWII, and other conflicts overseas occur on our own streets. Our nation has lived in peace, security, and was better off during these times. We have not seen the devastation that other nations have seen when war came to their nation. This time, though, war will come. You can thank the policies of our war machine, the lack of border security, and the rise of the militancy that has gripped our leaders. With this will come much more bloodshed, both abroad and at home.
