Our communications director in China is going back to her mountain home where she was raised as a little girl. She will be leaving in May for this mission trip, please pray for her. Please pray for Titus and his family reunion. Titus served 3 hard years in prison and his wife was deported to Taiwan.

Starting from my working experience, I began to save money and sent them to my hometown without my parents’ knowing. With my pressing prayer, my parents agreed with my visit to my hometown. All the years’ dream realized. In Apr. 1997 I went back there, 26 people got saved, including my stepfather. It was so easy to evangelize there. I hope my husband and I can go there soon. The Lord is granting your hope and wish to return to Si Chuan. Soon, turned out to be 10 years but the Lord’s timing is always correct. I am glad Daniel is going with you and I hope you are taking Mary too.
I am very excited as you return as a Missionary to that area. I bet your family in the mountains will be happy about your coming. I want to encourage you to ask every Christian you know to pray for your mission trip. I will send out an “SOS” prayer alert too, in support of your trip. You & Daniel will be surrounded by a heavenly host for your visit. As the body of Christ grows there, Perhaps in the future I can go with you and share with them.

Deborah said the government still forbids Titus’s wife to come to China, Titus can go to Taiwan and stays there forever and never come back. They have been separated for more than 6 years. Originally the government said the separation time was for 5 years, but now they said the upper level commanded it to be prolonged, no reason.
Their son came to visit Titus this past Spring Festival. He can come and go freely. Both Titus and his wife are trying every method to get reunited. Titus’s burden is in China mainland.
Deborah asked us to pray for the students’ and teachers’ health. Recently many get sick.
Orphanage
<>Now many people and the government don’t believe that the church or Philip can set up an orphanage at all. They even ridicule Philip, “His faith drives him mad.” They wonder how such a poor church can set up an orphanage. The government won’t consider this project any more unless Philip show them a bank book with a good amount of deposit, or a foreigner go to talk with them. They also said it would be more easy to register a factory or a business, we could put the orphanage in the factory. <>Joshua said there were many strong points to use that land, no negative points.
