A Christian Perspective on “The Secret” and the Law of Attraction

If you’ve heard of the best-selling book called “The Secret” you know it has become huge!

The concept is, by using this “secret,” which is The Law of Attraction, you can create anything you want in your life: more money, a bigger house, more business, a new mate, literally anything you want!

While “The Secret” has many truths in it, it also has many flaws.

For one thing I personally disagree with the notion that a person can have just anything. The reason is… because we were born with different strengths skills, talents, and abilities.

God made us all unique, with a purpose, and with a certain mission. It really isn’t “all about us!”

If you’re a Christian, you’re joint-heirs with Christ because you have been adopted into His family. This all means you are in His will, which also means He directs your steps!

Jeremiah 29:11 says, “I know the thoughts I think toward you says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end!”

This Scripture tells us we need to seek God’s will for our lives… seek what He wants! When we are doing what we are anointed to do, we will experience success!

When we seek our own thing we will fail miserably, for Jeremiah 17:5 says, “Cursed is the one that trusts in man!” Whatever does not begin with God will certainly end in failure!

The Secret’s teaching on the Law of Attraction has brought a lot of confusion to the believer in Christ for one very good reason… They leave out the entire concept of “God’s will!

Should we then, not study the Law of Attraction? Absolutely not! The Law of Attraction is very real, and when you read the words of Jesus, you must believe in it!

When you study the Law of Attraction you must be careful whom you’re learning it from (most of the teachers of The Secret do not profess to be followers of Christ)!

Jesus’ teaching on the Law of Attraction dealt with our beliefs, thoughts, words and actions. The teachers of the “Secret” teach that our words and thoughts are enough, like there’s some sort of magic in what we request from the “Universe,” and a relationship with our Saviour meansnothing. Remember John 14:6, “No one comes to the Father but through Me!”

The wisest man who ever lived said this; “Dreaming instead of doing is foolishness, and there is ruin in a flood of empty words. Fear God instead” (Ecclesiastes 5:7)!

Now, we have clarified that the Law of Attraction is real. Understanding it thoroughly is another thing. Truly understanding it with a Christian perspective is extremely important because, just like anyone else, it largely determines what we are getting out of life. It has been working for, and against us since we were born.

Jesus said, “All things are possible to him who believes” (Mark 9:23), all things means just that… ALL things… good and bad!

If you are, or are not, getting the things you really and truly believe God wants for you in your life, I challenge you to consider what you are thinking about most of the time!

If you’re a subscriber to my “Prosperous Christian” e-Letter you know that I write a lot about how important our thinking is! Jesus said, “As a man Thinks, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7)!

So, how should a Christian use the Law of Attraction?

A Christian should use the Law of Attraction to glorify God in his or her life, not merely to obtain selfish ambitions. By seeking God’s will, knowing what He wants from us, and then trusting Him to help us as we keep focused on that very thing, we will put ourselves in a postion to receive. Jeremiah 17:7 says, “Blessed is the one that trusts in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is!”

If you’ve been trying to use the Law of Attraction in the way the teachers of The Secret teach, you will soon find yourself feeling far from God! And, it should be no surprise…

When you’re merely seeking after what you want, and not what God wants, you are in the flesh, which is sin! And we know sin separates us from God. Again, remember Jeremiah 17:5, “Cursed is the one that trusts in man” (the word “Man” means flesh, or one’s self)!

God wants a relationship with us more than anything else. He wants our heart, and it grieves Him when we chase after selfish things instead of Him. Matthew 6:33 says, “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you!”

In conclusion, the teachers of The Secret say that the Law of Attraction means “Thoughts become things.” But, in reality, the Law of Attraction means, “What we think about most flows out of our lives!” We find this truth in Proverbs 4:23, “Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it flow the issues of life.”

Rome (Asia News) – A secret Communist Party document from Hubei province has reached the West that indicates that a nationwide campaign is underway to “normalize” underground Protestant Churches by giving them two options: either join the Three Self-Patriotic Movement-the set of government-sanctioned patriotic Christian organizations-or be suppressed. Either way, the campaign is in clear violation of United Nations resolutions on religious freedom which ban any distinction between lawful (government-controlled) and unlawful religions activities

The secret document is titled Secret Document Reveals Chinese Government’s Campaign against Unregistered Churches. It was translated and published last Tuesday by the US-based China Aid Association (CAA), an organisation devoted to counter religious persecution in China. The original document was issued on July 24, 2007 by the Duodao District Committee Office of Jingmen Municipality of the Communist Party of China, Hubei province. In order to protect the source, the CAA omitted the document’s specific number. But copies of the paper were printed, each with its serial number, on the understanding that its “content must not be disclosed.”

The text refers only to an ongoing “crackdown” in Jingmen that started on June 15 and ending November 30. It reveals that the whole campaign was based on papers elaborated at the national and provincial levels and urged and instructed by a National Christian Working Seminar, called “601 Conference” held on June 1, 2007, involving leading comrades in the central government from the Department of United Front of District Committee, District Bureau for Religious Affairs of Ethnic Minorities.

The purpose of the crackdown was said to “[f]ight against infiltration activities by hostile overseas forces under the guise of Christianity and safeguard the stability in our society and in the religious arena.” It urged co-operation between public security departments and agencies in charge of religious affairs to “do a good job in managing unauthorized sites and gatherings by missionary workers
In practice this means taking over all underground communities and incorporating them into the Three Self-Patriotic Movement, the only organizational framework under government control in which Chinese Protestants are allowed to exist. The document talks about illegal gathering sites involving many people, something important given the fact that in China there are at least 50 million Protestants, with only a minority belonging to official Churches.

The paper goes on to suggest ways to normalise and standardise Christians’ actions through registration of Christian sites, activities and pastors. It suggests that this be done by educating the majority, isolating and cracking down on small minorities, and providing believers a “patient and careful ideological education.” The document adds that to achieve this result the authorities ought to start with a comprehensive investigation on “gathering sites, participants, locations and patterns.” Similarly, “[i]investigations should also be conducted on whether there is infiltration by overseas forces or whether there is underground missionary work, whether feudal superstition and heresies are involved.”

These investigations “should include the content of the sermons, personal history of the missionaries and their profiles, the sources of the funds, financial situations, system of activities, key members of their organizations and the ordinary people who participate in their activities.” Normalisation is achieved by “registering the sites established without proper authorisation, replacing the private sites with churches, merging sites, persuading them to dismantle and abolishing the sites.” Self-appointed missionaries should be given a choice: stop their activities and undergo (government-sponsored) education or see their influence eliminated.

The idea is always the same. Only activities authorized by the government and under its control are deemed rightful so as “so as to keep the development of Christianity reasonable, healthy, and orderly.” “For those who refuse to mend their ways or to stop their activities [. . .] public security agencies should work together with agencies in charge of religious affairs and resolutely crack down.” In terms of China’s past religious policy, the document in question represents nothing new. It follows the guidelines on religious activities laid down in 1994 by Li Peng (aka the ‘butcher of Tiananmen) which were reviewed and updated in 2005 (see “Something new but mostly the same old rules on religion,” AsiaNews of January 12, 2005)

Now as then the same principle is asserted. A distinction is made between what is considered normal religious activities as opposed to what is seen as unlawful where normalcy is defined as being under state control, a notion that is in clear violation of the United Nations Declaration on Human Rights. Many Catholics and Protestants have not forgotten the UN report on religious intolerance in China prepared by Abdelfattah Amor (November 1994) that condemned the distinction made by the Chinese government between normal and abnormal or illegal religious activities, a distinction according to Mr Amor that discriminates against believers and which ought to be eliminated from in practice and in law.

Instead since 1994 China has increased police controls in order to eliminate “illegal” underground religious activities.

Having Done all, To Stand, Stand Therefore‘Does the L-RD know who you are?’

Part I: Ruling The Society of Wickedness

The phrase above was one the L-RD, my G-D put in my heart, mind, and soul. So much so, it has been with me all this last week. Recently the news has been it usual, filled with many ungodly and deviant events. As a result of this, I wrote an article on Passing Sodom: Deviancy Goes Mainstream, it is published on our sites, www.wingswatchman.org, and our WIBR/Warn News site- www.wingswatchman.org/WordPress, and on www.raidersnewsupdate.com, aka Raiders News Network. It describes the deviancy that is currently going on in America and how those who do such things have been successful in convincing America what deviancy really is. This goes to heart of Romans chapter one, where Paul was warning the Roman Christians of what was going on in the world they lived in.

Romans 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them

It was a society where rich men kept young boy homosexual lovers along with their wives. This society had whores, prostitutes, gold, silver, slaves, riches, houses, poor men, rich men, powerful men, and was doomed to be destroyed one day. Thus it was very rich, full of powerful, and ruled the entire world of its day. But they were completely wicked and idol worshippers. Their power and nation continued even amidst all their wickedness. That is, until the L-rd G-d cut them off. He did this by over running their empire with other barbarian tribes who also destroyed the Roman city, even destroying the Christian worship center there. In the end, the wickedness of Rome was cut off and G-d continued to rule from his throne.

This attitude of Rome at the time was that their war machine, which was indeed the greatest the world had ever seen, was their strength. They saw this and did not worry about enemies. Over the many years of their rule they conquered and ruled as the only might on earth. During this reign of power they brought in civilized roads and communication. They brought the Greek language and influence in, causing it to spread in the world. Through this Greek language, the apostles communicated the gospel to the gentiles who learned this language. Rome also brought in wealth, safety, and created an atmosphere for commerce. Many nations traded and the adage was “all roads led to Rome”. Rome was at the zenith of power and prosperity in the world when the Caesar did not know in the conquered land of the Jews, a young preacher was about to be crucified. He also did not know this same preacher, a Jew claimed to be the Messiah. He did not know this young Jew prophesied that Jerusalem, the temple, and the people in the city itself would be destroyed. In the end over one million people died during that siege, the young preacher-prophet and Messiah was correct. Yet this Messiah is at the right hand of the Father waiting to return to earth. Isaiah prophesied of this Messiah, the might G-d, who will have a government which shall never end.

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

What this tells us is that America be warned. No king, nation, or country will be saved by their own hand, army, host, or their strength. Those who trust in chariots, war horses, or men will be destroyed.

Psalms 33:16 There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
17 An (war) horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.

For Strong is the L_RD G_D who judges her and rules the nations. He is the governor of the nations. The raises up as he did America and he tears down as he did Rome, Sodom, Gomorrah, Babylon, and many others. The L_RD Sees and hears the plans, plots, and counsel of the wicked nations. He knows what the Security Council is doing. His ears have heard the plots of the planners for their New World Order. He knows of the North American Union. Yet in all the wisdom of men, the L-RD’S counsel will stand. He will bring to nothing the plans of the nations. All they do, in fact, will fulfill what he has already spoken would happen at the mouth of his prophets and apostles..

Psalms 33:10 The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.
11 The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
12 ¶Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
13 The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.
14 From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
15 He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.

We need to understand why the Apostles, Prophets, and even many Christians today are warning of what will happen when societies turn from the former ways to the godless ways. The simple truth is this, “God recognizes the righteous and those who do righteously”. When the church loses his savor as salt, when the people of G-d cease to be lights shining amidst the darkness, when they look just like the world, then they will be judged as the world. If the L-RD looks upon you today will he see righteousness or something else? Can the L-RD tell the difference between you and the world? These are questions to ask yourself. The L-RD will deliver, hid, and bring to himself all those who walk according to his ways. He knows how to keep you, deliver you, and protect you during these times.

Psalms 33:18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
20 Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.
21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
22 Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.

Zephaniah 2:3 Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.

Today know that you are called and given a choice. I know of many ministers who are multi-millionaires and teach their people the highest form of Christianity is riches and wealth. Of course, they say this to convince you to give to them. “With money” they say, “You can do more for the L-RD”. The trouble today is that in our churches we look, sound, and act just like the world. We are accepting abominations in our churches and will in the end pay for it. Just read the first three chapters of Revelation and take heed to the warnings in those Words, but also take note of the over comers! Who are you today? Ask yourself this: “Am I a child of G-d, a worker of righteousness, and one who is waiting for the L-RD’S return, or am I lukewarm and just like the world?

That is why today, the L-RD is saying to you “Having done all, to stand, stand therefore”! Have you done all to stand as a child of G-D? When the tough times come, you will know. Because history has proven you reap what you sow. The L-RD G-D warned Israel and he is warning both the Church and America, saying “Take heed how you stand, lest you fall!”

Isaiah 65:12 Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.

Part II: Having Done all, to stand, Stand Therefore!

You stand by taking all the armour of G-D!
Having Done all, to stand, Stand Therefore!
Stand so you can stand against the deceits of the Devil!

Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Stand so you can With all The Evil in the Evil Day!
Stand in the Power (His dominion, strength, and manifested power) of His might!
This is standing in the L_RD, you are in His kingdom authority, dominion, and majesty through Christ Jesus. You are standing against all hell, earth, and the devil, but doing so in the dominion, strength, and manifested power of the L-RD.

Ephesians 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day [phrase: anthistemi], and having done all, to stand.

“Withstand in the evil day” in the Greek: ‘Anthistemi’- withstand, vigorously opposing, bravely resisting, standing face to face against an adversary, standing your ground.

You are standing against the ‘arche’ principalities, the commanding generals over Satan’s fallen armies. You are standing against ‘exousia’ powers, the high ranking powers of evil. You are standing against ‘Kosmokrates’ rulers of the darkness of this age, the governing spirits of darkness. You are standing against ‘paneria’ wicked spirits in heavenly places, who comprise the body of soldiers of satans hordes. You are standing against wicked men, women, governments, and all others these powers of hell are using to bring forth their kingdom of darkness to be ruled by the Son of Perdition. [2 thess 2]

Ask yourself have I done all I can?
If so, when tough times come, stand by faith!
The armor Paul mentions below is the same armor prophesied of the Messiah would wear. We find this in ( Is11:5; 59:17; 52:7)

Ephesians 6:14 Stand therefore having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Prepare for action, walk in the truth of G-D’S word.
Be holy, look for the L-RD’S return, and do not sway from the truth. For the Father will judge all men according to their works, so know that what you do, even if you call yourself Christian will be judged.
Beware, WALK in TRUTH!

1 Peter 1:13 ¶Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

Put on righteousness, make no allowances to walk in the flesh, or do those things which wickedness brings into men of darkness.
Cast off, put away, and do not follow those who would fool you, delude you, or tell you this is not so!

Romans 13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Be prepared in this wicked day, amidst the deceits of the devil to proclaim the Gospel of Peace!
No matter how dirty, filthy, rotten, sick society is today, G-D’S grace is more than able to save anyone if they repent and follow the L-RD our G-D! To this end you were saved, now do not be dissuaded, but pursue the calling to proclaim the Salvation of the L-RD!

Isaiah 52:7 ¶How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!
8 Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion.
9 Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.
10 The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

Our victory in this world is that we are born of God, and we are over comers by Faith. Our victory over the World is our Faith.

1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

We are comforted by the fact that we have for a helmet the Salvation of our G-D! For our G-D has not appointed us to experience his wrath, but his salvation. Therefore be sober, clean, righteous, obeying all his commandments, and walk by faith in this wicked society. Full of love, for Love fulfills the commandments and the law.

1 Thessalonians 5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

Take therefore the Word of G-D and wield it as a Sword! When you do so the Word becomes the Rhema word!That Word of God which is spoken to fight the battle! Take G-D’S word, pray G-D’S, speak G-D’S word, and mix it with Faith!

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word [Rhema] that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Hebrews 4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

The L_RD will know those that are His and deliver them
Many who have ignored all these warnings will cry out loud and ask G-d for deliverance when the L-RD overturns the wicked and their societies in the last days. Be warned, ignore these scriptures to your own peril. But be comforted in knowing that if you are doing all this, then the L-RD will surely know you as one of his righteous ones.

Isaiah 66:4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

Colossians 3:5 ¶Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
6 For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

Banning the Bible during the Olympics just business as usual

Athletes and visitors can bring into China only one Bible for “personal use.” Having more than that will be considered propaganda, something punishable under China’s laws. Falun Gong literature and meeting underground religious communities will also be strictly forbidden. Thus the whole world will now learn what ‘Made in China’ religious repression actually means.

Beijing (AsiaNews) – A spokesperson for China’s Foreign Ministry defended his country’s religious policy, saying that athletes and visitors can bring Bibles and other religious objects into the country, specifying however that they can only bring them in “for personal use.” The clarification comes after a report appeared in some US and Italian media outlets claiming that Bibles would be banned from the Olympic Games, a “total rumor” according to Foreign Ministry Liu Jianchiao who spoke yesterday to reporters.
Under Chinese Law “foreigners are allowed to bring in religious objects or materials, be it print or audio or video,” he said. Rules applying to religious practice will thus not change. Rights associated with “religious freedom in China, [. . .] also apply to foreigners who live in the country, [and] are protected by the Chinese Constitution and relevant laws.”

For his part, Li Zhanjun, director of the Beijing Olympics media centre, slammed the reports, saying they were an “intentional distortion of the truth.” Yet some official statements made in the last few weeks suggest that for Chinese authorities bringing in any religious material for “propaganda” purposes was as dangerous as importing “weapons and explosives” and are consequently banned.

Many athletes and human rights organizations have asked however what constitutes propaganda. Even making the sign of the cross before a game or a Muslim prayer recited at the edges of a field could be deemed religious propaganda.
According to the Beijing 2008 Website, visitors cannot bring in dangerous materials like blood, infected animals or anything that might be detrimental to China’s policies. In a separate Note, the Website specifically says that “Each travel [sic] is recommended to take no more than one Bible into China.” Therefore, we can see that there is no special kind of censorship; just business as usual, the same rules every visitor to the People’s Republic of China must submit to 365 days a year.

This means that the authorities will continue to ban all written material from the Falun Gong (a “wicked cult” according to the Chinese government) as well as the distribution of Bibles and other religious texts. Any activity in support of Tibet and the Dalai Lama or meeting with underground religious communities will also be prohibited.

Beijing is especially concerned about statements made by Tibetan Buddhist expatriates that they will try to take advantage of the Olympic Games to denounce China’s attacks against the Dalai Lama and violence against the Tibetan people.

It is equally afraid of the thousands of American evangelical Christians (some of whom are learning Chinese) who are preparing to use the Olympics to import thousands of Bibles and engage in evangelising activities in the country.

So anyone who thought that the Olympic Games would have been a time for China to “taste liberty” must think again for all they will taste will be religious repression.

Ex-employees: Copeland ministry followers being misled

Days after the announcement of a congressional investigation into the finances of Fort Worth televangelists Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, former ministry insiders say that Mr. Copeland’s faithful followers are being misled.

WFAA-TV (Ch.8) first reported on the private use of the Copeland ministry’s $20 million jet, trips made to a ski resort and exotic game hunting ranch. But the real turbulence for Mr. Copeland’s ministry may come from within the gates of his Eagle Mountain Church and Ministry Headquarters north of Fort Worth.

Former employees told WFAA-TV that the Copelands one sees on television are not the same Copelands in real life.

Four former Copeland ministry employees said they were disappointed after seeing how the ministry operates.

When our Lord came, he fulfilled the prophets. To do this, he must have come as the Messiah, fulfilling all the prophets words about the coming Messiah.

In order to have a promise from the LORD GOD, and have that mean anything at all, it must of been true. To deny who Jesus is, or even come close to make it look like this is troubling to say the least. My bible tells me, Jesus came as the promise, and was called “my Son”, The “Holy One”, and if you believe in Him, you will be justified, see scripture below.

Avian Flu, Updates, Releases, and Public Quarantine Info Released

Avian flu influenza has hit hard in the third world nations.  The latest news out of one of the hardest hit nations, Indonesia has come from the Ministry of Health. The H5N1 avian influenza has killed a 30 year old female on November 3. So far 90 out of 112 confirmed cases have died. [http://www.who.int/csr/don/2007_11_05a/en/index.html]
Moreover, it was in June of 2006 when the New York Times reported that the ‘human to human infections have occurred’. The report was issued during a cluster of Avian flu cases that hit Indonesia. Previously authorities played down the ‘human to human’ infection spread, but the Times released the statement that “it appears likely that there have been many more human-to-human infections than the authorities have previously acknowledged.” [www.edwardsburgargus.com/articles/2007/04/19/sports/vasports10.txt]

The human to human spread occurs when the virus acquires sufficient human genes, which will allow transmission from one person to another. According to some WHO estimates up to 7.4 million people could die from the Avian Flu.  The pandemic of 1918 killed an estimated 40-50 million people worldwide.  There is no way to tell, but authorities all over the globe are watching the Avian flu. Most believe that it will eventually make its way to the US.
So far, this flu has not been a viable worry here in this country. However, again the authorities have been preparing through all government agencies, CERT, FEMA, Police, and other organizations.  There was found in the Michigan area some swans that the authorities found with the Avian virus. This was earlier in 2007. The authorities have said the virus has two types of pathogen (micro-organism or virus which will cause disease), the low and high pathogens, which so far, only the low pathogen has been found in America. The government has a website in which you can find out your state plans on the pandemic which they believe is coming. Go to [wdh.state.wy.us/epiid/wpirp.pdf ]. The state website for our area described what a pandemic was. There are different levels of awareness, but the one which you need to worry is when the Pandemic is described as large, increased, and sustained human to human spread in general population, and the virus is adapted to humans and fully transmissible.

In our state, and I believe this is probably standard for most States. They health officer has the power to Quarantine and isolate. A pdf, which has this information, stated what the State Health officer does. The statement below is just a minute portion, but look at the words: establish, maintain, enforce isolation, quarantine, and to exercise such physical control over. All words which describe the potential trouble this nation will face.
The WDH, through the State Health Officer, or under his/her direction and supervision, has the power to establish, maintain and enforce isolation and quarantine, and in pursuance thereof, and for such purpose only, to exercise such physical control over property and over the persons of the people within this state as necessary for the protection of the public health (W.S. 35-1-240). Any person who has been quarantined may appeal to the district court at any time for release from the quarantine (W.S. 35-4-112).
The response of the State Health Officer further states that they will close all public buildings, theatres, schools, malls, churches, and anywhere people gather. They will close all public buildings, events, and will in all this say they are protecting the public. (W.S. 35-1-240).
Further, when such a pandemic occurs, mandatory vaccination may be used on people, and the statement below comes directly from the state Bird flu readiness plan. Again look at the words below which say: withholds or refuses consent for himself, minor, or other incompetent person, or if such treatment is needed to protect the health of others, then they will be quarantined. The trouble here is, the power and authority during this pandemic. When they gain control, will they again let loose such power? Today, many see the controls of the government as threatening as many third world dictatorships, who does the same things.
If a person withholds or refuses consent for himself, a minor or other incompetent when the vaccination or medical treatment is reasonably needed to protect the health of others from a disease carrying the risk of death or disability, then the person for whom the vaccination or medical treatment is refused may be quarantined by the State Health Officer.  
The Government has issued an update to the pandemic information. According to the website [www.whitehouse.gov/homeland/pandemic-influenza-oneyear.html] The United States is collaborating closely with both Canada and Mexico through what they call the Security and Prosperity Partnership to coordinate surveillance efforts for the early detection of the virus in wild birds. This is something that must be done, but this is one point the government will use to push their North American Union plan known as the SPP.  What this will lead too, is the establishment of the NAU.

The site also mentioned that the government has planned a “series of layered border measures that may be implemented during a sever pandemic.” The US plans to stop flights to other countries, health guidance or restrictions to travelers coming into the US. Also the US will implement other public health measures to limit the spread of the pandemic.
Moreover, DARPA is also onboard the Avian flu pandemic potential. If you don’t think this is real, then do more studying. The DARPA is onboard to created vaccine in 12 weeks of the Avian outbreak. They plan on doing this to make an estimated 3 million doses of vaccine for our fighting men and women.  Making the vaccine so quickly will be a challenge because now, most vaccines take 6 months.

FDA Approves First U.S. Vaccine for Humans Against the Avian Influenza Virus H5N1
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) today announced the first approval in the United States of a vaccine for humans against the H5N1 influenza virus, commonly known as avian or bird flu.

The vaccine could be used in the event the current H5N1 avian virus were to develop the capability to efficiently spread from human to human, resulting in the rapid spread of the disease across the globe. Should such an influenza pandemic emerge, the vaccine may provide early limited protection in the months before a vaccine tailored to the pandemic strain of the virus could be developed and produced.

“The threat of an influenza pandemic is, at present, one of the most significant public health issues our nation and world faces,” said Andrew C. von Eschenbach, M.D., Commissioner of Food and Drugs. “The approval of this vaccine is an important step forward in our protection against a pandemic.”

The H5N1 virus is one version of the influenza A virus commonly found in birds. Unlike seasonal influenza, where infection ranges from mild to serious symptoms in most people, the disease caused by H5N1 is far more severe and happens quickly, with pneumonia and multi-organ failure commonly seen.

While there have been no reported human cases of H5N1 infection in the United States, almost 300 people worldwide have been infected with this virus since 2003 and more than half of them have died. To date, H5N1 influenza has remained primarily an animal disease but should the virus acquire the ability for sustained transmission among humans, people will have little immunity to this virus and the potential for an influenza pandemic would have grave consequences for global public health.

“The timing and severity of an influenza pandemic is uncertain, but the danger remains very real,” said Jesse L. Goodman, M.D., M.P.H., Director of FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research. “We are working closely with other government agencies, global partners and the vaccine industry to facilitate the development, licensure and availability of needed supplies of safe and effective vaccines to protect against the pandemic threat.”

The vaccine was obtained from a human strain and is intended for immunizing people 18 through 64 years of age who could be at increased risk of exposure to the H5N1 influenza virus contained in the vaccine. H5N1 influenza vaccine immunization consists of two intramuscular injections, given approximately one month apart. The manufacturer, sanofi pasteur Inc., will not sell the vaccine commercially. Instead, the vaccine has been purchased by the federal government for inclusion within the National Stockpile for distribution by public health officials if needed. The vaccine will be manufactured at sanofi pasteur’s Swiftwater, Pa., facility.

A clinical study was conducted to collect safety information and information on recipient’s immune responses and to determine the appropriate vaccine dose. A total of 103 healthy adults received a 90 microgram dose of the vaccine by injection followed by another 90 microgram dose 28 days later. In addition, there were approximately 300 healthy adults who received the vaccine at doses lower than 90 micrograms and a total of 48 who received a placebo injection.

The vaccine was generally well tolerated, with the most common side effects reported as pain at the injection site, headache, general ill feeling and muscle pain. The study showed that 45 percent of individuals who received the 90 microgram, two-dose regimen developed antibodies at a level that is expected to reduce the risk of getting influenza. Although the level of antibodies seen in the remaining individuals did not reach that level, current scientific information on other influenza vaccines suggests that less than optimal antibody levels may still have the potential to help reduce disease severity and influenza-related hospitalizations and deaths. Additional information on this H5N1 influenza vaccine is being collected on safety and effectiveness in other age groups and will be available to FDA in the near future.

With the support of FDA, the U.S. National Institutes of Health and other government agencies, sanofi pasteur and other manufacturers are working to develop a next generation of influenza vaccines for enhanced immune responses at lower doses, using technologies intended to boost the immune response. Meanwhile, the approval and availability of this vaccine will enhance national readiness and the nation’s ability to protect those at increased risk of exposure.

Dividing Jerusalem, it’s a done deal.

The politicians would like for you to believe that nothing has been decided on Israel’s surrender to the Islamic Arabs on the division of Jerusalem.  But thanks to George Bush, Rice and God only knows who else, the lines have been drawn and Border Crossings and walls are going up as you read this article. 

If we listen to the Media and believe what they say, and I am not stupid enough to think anyone reading is does.  They would have us believe that the fences, borders and walls are going up in areas only to protect us from the Islamic suicide bombers, that is true but not the whole truth and what is really happening is they are using that to cover up the division of Jerusalem. 

Zachariah 12:9 AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS IN THAT DAY, THAT I WILL SEEK TO DESTROY ALL THE NATIONS THAT COME AGAINST JERUSALEM.

Zachariah 12:2-3 BEHOLD, I WILL MAKE JERUSALEM A CUP OF TREMBLING UNTO ALL THE PEOPLE ROUND ABOUT, WHEN THEY SHALL BE IN THE SIEGE BOTH AGAINST JUDAH AND AGAINST JERUSALEM.

:3 AND IN THAT DAY I WILL MAKE JERUSALEM A BURDENSOME STONE FOR ALL THE PEOPLE: ALL THAT BURDEN THEMSELVES WITH IT SHALL BE CUT IN PIECES, THOUGH ALL THE PEOPLE OF THE EARTH BE GATHERED TOGETHER AGAINST IT.

Connie and I spent a couple of days taking some pictures for you to make up your own mind. 

In these pictures you can plainly see the walls that divide East and West Jerusalem.

This next picture is the new Border being developed just outside of Beit Jella next to Bethlehem.  There are others being put up all over the country from the Dead Sea to the Northern Border.  They know where the Borders are regardless of what they are saying to the public or the rest of the world. 

From 1948 until 1967 the Arabs had a wall between the Old City and the Jewish side; they destroyed over 40 Synagogues during those years.  Now we see a new type of separation being put into place, it is a Tunnel to separate Jewish Traffic from that of the Old City with fences and walls going up along the same line. 

This tunnel runs about one kilometer and is just to the right, on this road if you look to the left center you can see the top of the Dome of the Rock.  There is no doubt as to the intentions of this tunnel. It is the planned border for a two state solution that Bush and Rice are pushing for to satisfy the Oil Rich Saudis. 

Today Rice is back in Jerusalem for the 3^rd time in 6 weeks twisting Olmert arm, no doubt threatening him as they did Sharon. The Israelis and the Palestinians don’t believe there is any chance of any success and Abbas has already said that if he doesn’t get everything he is asking for there will be a third Intifada much worse than the first two.  In the mean time today while Rice was in Jerusalem the Islamic “Palestinians fired 5 Kassam rockets at Israel civilians, a war crime in any other part of the world but the UN is once again silent. 

It’s hard for me to imagine what is in store for the US now but I don’t think any of us will like it.  Most military strategists are saying that Bashar Assad of Syria is being placed in the middle and will be forced into attacking Israel, in hopes that Iran and Hezbollah will follow suit.  That leaves Egypt and Jordan hanging out to dry if the attack is successful so they will give serious thought once again in joining in the attack in order not to be left out and hated by all their Arab neighbors. 

Of course none of the above is a done deal and these cowardly Arabs after being beaten 6 times when they thought they would destroy little Israel have been trying to raise their courage.  The second war with a terrorist group “Hezbollah” has given them hope to believe that they can possibly destroy Israel this time.  Assad who is put in the middle mostly by Iran knows that if it fails it is suicide for him in Syria.

In the mean time we are called by God to prepare to rescue Jews who are now coming under a very high level of anti-Semitism throughout Europe.  The time is nearing when they must run for their lives or be caught in another Holocaust.  One kassam rocket in the middle of Israel’s only international airport or one commercial jet liner full of tourist hit or shot down, the only possible way for the European Jews who will be running for their lives to be rescued, will be by boat.  We simply cannot afford to fail them. 

All the plans of dividing Jerusalem and killing all of us Jews sounds like a good idea to those the Devil has filled with hate for us.  But the final Word does not rest on that level, God will have the last Word and I have already read it and I praise His Holy Name.

I am asking everyone reading this to stop and pray about your part in this Ministry we have no idea how much time we have but we must use every day as if it may be the last to prepare.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for our son Joel and all the IDF soldiers. Pray for this Ministry and your part in it.

I (C/D) called Joshua last evening; he shared the conditions with me as below:

Before this incident happened, during his fasting prayer, Lord told him: “There’s persecution coming upon you, but don’t worry, I’ll help you!”One night, his wife dreamt that there were many snakes and scorpions in the church, they went up to beat them to death, and blood splashed everywhere.

The Public Security Bureau (PSB) police told Joshua they detected the foreign team when they were teaching up North in Xinjiang province. The central government sent a command to catch them, at the end they found the foregin team left and went to Yucheng, so 80% police force of that city came out to search for them, they surrounded Philip’s village. The provincial PSB’s leader also came.

That day during their teaching Joshua went out of the church for a walk, he found a police car, he immediately arranged the church people to take the teachers away. They locked their house; the police searched it and didn’t find the foreign team, but took away all the books and Joshua’s wife’s cell phone.

If the police found witness that the foreign team came to their church, Philip and Joshua would be sentenced. The team had left safely. The police wanted to give them accusations for illegal gathering, illegal preaching and nobbler.

The police said they glimpsed a fat chap when that night Paul and Joshua went to the station to pick up the team, so they would focus on Joshua.

Police asked Joshua “How did you get to know foreigners?” He said “When I went for tour in SH, I saw foreigners, I sang ‘Hallelujah ” Jesus ‘, then the foreigners said ‘Jesus? Yes, you believe in Jesus?’.” He told them he also got to know some foreigners through some foreign Christian’s websites. Can say lie during interrogation?

One time the police was going to beat him, Philip’s brother came out to stop them and cursed them for their harsh treatment. So they began to change their attitude. Because Philip’s brother is a famous businessman in that city.

Joshua said he had gone through awful weakness, he really feared to cry. He thought he was still young..When he was put into the police car, he was frightened, Lord told him “When I was hanged on the cross, nobody was with Me, but now I am with you.”

For three times the police interrogated Philip, Joshua and two church’s accountants. Philip and Joshua now stayed at their home, some plainclothesmen watched outside of their house. When they came out, they would be scouted.

Joshua said they had deleted all information from the computer except part of Ezra’s teaching (mp3)before the police took it away. The police rummaged up a USB from Timothy’s bag, in the USB there were some parts of kinescope of Jon’s teaching in John Zhang’s church, and some pictures of us. Joshua said they prayed asking the Lord to blind the police’s eyes and to disorder their minds. He said don’t worry about that, the police’s main purpose was to forage about that foreign team. He wouldn’t confess us to the police even beat him to death.

The police told Joshua they would take the computer to check and asked Joshua and Philip to wait at home for re-interrogation.
