It was the afternoon, a Sunday, the day had gone by, now here they were, the two of them. Back from the Republican get together for Wyoming. It was a fight, anyway you say it for those who support the Paul ‘revolution’. It is a fight for the ‘survival of the nation’ many believe this. With tears in the eyes and a lump in the throat, we listened as a young man described standing up for what he believed and for the beliefs of Dr. Paul.
On one article, shortly before the announced nomination by delegates of McCain, Dr. Paul had said how surprised he was at the reception of what he had fought for. It is not a fight that is for one year, it is a revolution I remember him saying. A revolution is not won in one year, it takes time. When everyone had counted out all those who are zealous for Dr. Paul’s platform, one of the people, those who supported him were not done with the fight. Far from it, those who support the beliefs, hold dear the unalienable rights given to us by our Constitution and our stated rights. It goes to the heart of who we are as Americans. For one American, anyway, that day I saw the tears, felt what he felt for the fight to retain what is left of America. Daily states and those in charge are violating, degrading, and ignoring our former way of life. For them, a new global America is on the frontier, one that seizes the opportunity of the global agenda and reduces the identity of the nations. So it is that I put the email sent to the WIBR/WARN News by one of the delegates to the Wyoming State Republican convention. It is a letter that tells you of hero’s, these are everyday people who look to change something for the better. It reveals a ‘revolution’ for ‘America’. One that brings back the right of the people, for the people, and by the people, rights that men and women have fought and died for. One that our forefathers told us, it is our duty and obligation to oversee the government of these United States. It is an obligation that hits at the very foundation of who Americans are.
It is something that I cannot just tell you about. It must be found, felt, and fought for.

Dear Dr. Paul
I am not sure how you will get this or even if you will. However I would like to send you an update of Wyoming.
Recently I was in the midst of the most incredible people that God ever created, a COMPANY OF HERO’s. Being bound by duty they rose above themselves and showed me that it is worth fighting and losing then never trying and still losing. Only when one stands amongst heroes will he understand virtue, duty, and a noble cause.
Spending five hour’s in a drive home, there were times I cried. For these people truly have the greatest character I have seen in my 33 yrs. each and every one of these folks were so creative, so full of desire, and knowledge. Dr. Paul I really could say so much more. I remember on the start of the convention a guy from the press saw my shirt and asked me if we Ron Paul guys were going to start something. To which I said the people who support Dr Paul believe that it is important to conduct themselves as Dr. Paul would do. Then my friend Will, who in grace spoke to this man on sound policies, and common since, till we were so rudely, interrupted by a film of Dick Cheney “what a Creep”.
So Dr. Paul the Great State of Wyoming presents to you real Wyoming Hero’s.
It was May 29-30 that a group of unique individuals got together at the Republican State Convention in Rocksprings Wyoming. Their goal was to get some of them elected to be delegates to the National Republican Convention in Minneapolis Minnesota.
These wonderful people set up a table full of neat information about one man and this mans hopes, ideas, and principals of sound government. This display featured a hand made banner, books, pamphlets, DVD’s, and much more all for people to have. Each one of these creative people gave contributions to this table.
Before they even arrived into Rocksprings Wyoming, each one of them knew that trying to accomplish their goal just might end with failure but chose to try. The folks I speak of are house wives, artist, law enforcement officers, small business owners, employees for company’s, doctors, and of other just and noble occupations. These rare folks etched their name’s forever in pages of History. On this date and this time there names were placed into pages that say DELEGATES WYOMING REPUBLICAN STATE CONVENTION 2008, and are forever my HERO’s.
It was their devotion to principal’s that had convicted them to stand together and travel the many miles it took to get there. It is by duty that they can forever say to there children’s children I did all I could do. These brave men and women having heard a bell off in the distance and instead of running to false security, they chose to answer the call to arms. What they saw was a calm old doctor ringing a bell, this man compelled them to try and regain all they were losing. He had restored hope in many; he lit the fire of conviction that has compelled them to remain active. This man spoke of low taxes, revealed the truth of small government, and reiterated what strong defense is to be by law. All the talking of a Republican, however this man brought to the table a fact sheet that he does what he says.
While at this convention many folks had come to them and were glad to see them there and some were VERY upset to see them at all. However being out numbered did not bother these individuals. This band of common minded people stood resolute and above board in respect for their candidate. They also found many other people who supported there candidate. I am reminded of this quote when I reflect on the convention “in the beginning of change, the patriot is a scarce man; brave, hated, and scorned. when his cause succeeds however, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot”. Well these people are true patriots.
During this process they were to sit through a video and presentation of awards for hero’s of Wyoming. Well they forgot a few names.
Hero: remarkably brave person: somebody who commits an act of remarkable bravery or who has shown an admirable quality such as great courage or strength of character.
