1 Corinthians 10:11  Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Chaos-complete disorder and confusion, chaotic
Disorder-lack of order, disruption of peaceful and law abiding behavior
Confusion-state of being confused, uncertainty, bewilderment, state of panic or disorder
There will be chaos, as a snare shall it come upon the whole earth, Luke 21:34-36
There will be delusion 2 Thess 2
These will be perilous times 2 Tim 3
I will shake all things saith the LORD:
Isaiah 24:1  ¶Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.
2  And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.
3  The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word.
4  The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.
5  The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.
6  Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.
Ends -strongs-g5056-telos;
“an end, termination,” whether of time or purpose
of the World-strongs-g165-aion;
javascript:void(0)
“an age, era” (to be connected with aei, “ever,” rather than with ao, “to breathe”), signifies a period of indefinite duration, or time viewed in relation to what takes place in the period.
The force attaching to the word is not so much that of the actual length of a period, but that of a period marked by spiritual or moral characteristics.
The phrases containing this word should not be rendered literally, but consistently with its sense of indefinite duration
This Word ‘ages’ aion, g165 is found in Ephesians:
Ephesians 2:6  And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7  That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
This Word ‘ages’ aion, g 165 is found in Colosians:
Colossians 1:26  Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
27  To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
28  Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
29  Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.
The main point here in these passages is this:
1. There is a Mystery that has been hid from ages and from generations, but now is manifest to his saints
2. That in the ages to come, yea even from the time before the foundations of the world, God wanted to show forth the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness and love toward us through Jesus Christ!
3. This Mystery hidden in the ages before is now preached and men are warned and taught to the end that they may be presented perfect in Christ Jesus
It was God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake!
Hebrews 1:1  ¶God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2  Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3  Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
It is therefore a warning that we need to heed, “how shall we escape if we neglect this which God has spoken”?
Hebrews 2:1  ¶Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip
2  For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
3  How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Warning again here:
1. We ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip!

2. The word we have heard is stedfast and remember every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward
3. How shall we escape then, if we neglect so great salvation!
A. First spoken by the Lord
B. Then spoken by the Apostles, and then the early church
C. Then those who followed
D. Then there are us, in whom truly, the ends of the world have come!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Apostles believed the “ends of the world” had come upon them then! How much more so today!
1 Corinthians 10:11  Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
Philippians 4:5  Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
James 5:1  ¶Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
2  Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.
3  Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
4  Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.
5  Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.
6  Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.
7  Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
8  Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
Now there are ensamples written for us, “whom the ends of the world” are come upon!
It is from these ensamples that we can take heart, faith, and trust in the Lord
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

=>When the early church and the Apostles looked upon these ensamples, they were the “Patriarchs, Israel, the Prophets”

=>When we look upon these ensamples they are the “Patriarchs, Israel, the Prophets, and the Apostles and early church!

Israel, Babylon, and the God above the Chaos
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Beginning at Chapter 40 of Isaiah, the prophet begins to deal with Jacob/Israel’s return from captivity. Up til that chapters 1-30, the book dealt with judgments against Judah, Israel, and the pagan nations for disobedience. Yes, the Jewish Prophet Isaiah declared judgment against Pagan gentile nations as well!
We see God comforting afflicted Jacob/Israel in verse one:
Isaiah 40:1  ¶Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.
2  Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD’S hand double for all her sins.
In this section we find verses that applied to John the Baptist:
3  ¶The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
4  Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
5  And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
Here we see the shortness of life versus the Word of God which stands forever! He doesn’t forget!
6  The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:
7  The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.
8  The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
9  ¶O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!
10  Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
11  He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.
The God Above the Chaos!
Looks down and see’s the Nations as a drop in a bucket! Men may be in chaos and not know or understand, but God sees it all!
He reminds us, he is coming and his reward is with him, his work before him!
Isaiah 40:10
Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
God Above the chaos, measures the waters in the hollow of his hand!
Isaiah 40:12
¶Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?
God above the chaos, counsel, might, instruction, judgment, knowledge, understanding are in Him, the Spirit of the Lord moves !
Isaiah 40:13
Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counsellor hath taught him?
Isaiah 40:14
With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?
God above the chaos, nations are as a drop of a bucket! Nations are as nothing, vanity!
Isaiah 40:15
Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing.
Isaiah 40:16
And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt offering.
Isaiah 40:17
All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.
Isaiah 40:18
¶To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him?
Vanity of the Idols of men and nations!
The workman melteth a graven image, and the goldsmith spreadeth it over with gold, and casteth silver chains.
Isaiah 40:20
He that is so impoverished that he hath no oblation chooseth a tree that will not rot; he seeketh unto him a cunning workman to prepare a graven image, that shall not be moved.
God above the Chaos have you not heard?
Isaiah 40:21
Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?
Upon the circle of the earth!
Isaiah 40:22
It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
Bringeth princes to nothing, judges of earth as vanity!
Isaiah 40:23
That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.
Isaiah 40:24
Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they shall not be sown: yea, their stock shall not take root in the earth: and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble.
Look and behold the Holy One!
Isaiah 40:25
To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.
Lift up your eyes and behold he who hath created these things!
Isaiah 40:26
Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.
To Jacob my servant, the one who strayed from thy God!
Isaiah 40:27
¶Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God?
In your affliction come unto the LORD who faints not, neither is weary!
Isaiah 40:28
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
Isaiah 40:29
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
Isaiah 40:30
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
The descendants of Abraham: chosen, seed of Abraham!
Isaiah 41:8  But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.
9  Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.
10  ¶Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
You are my witnesses: “besides me there is no savior”
Isaiah 43:10  Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
11  I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
12  I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.
13  Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?
14  ¶Thus saith the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships.
15  I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.
16  Thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
17  Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow.
You are my witnesses: “beside me there is no God”
Isaiah 44:6  Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
7  And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them.
8  Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.
I am the LORD, there is none else
Isaiah 45:18  For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
19  I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
20  ¶Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.
21  Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.
22  Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
23  I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
24  Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.
25  In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.
