We watched the last Presidential Debate 2012, finally that is! The first and second one was a no go, as we could not force ourselves to stomach the politics and misnomers of the Debate 2012. Simply stated, with Obama, you cannot believe anything he says. Romney on the other hand is a nice rich Mormon who wants to be Presidential. Yet in both candidates, although their backgrounds differ, neither represents mainstream Americans, leastwise in our neck of the woods. Neither man at times seemed to differ on many things that mattered, like America leading the nations and the wars. Both men would send your sons and daughters to die in foreign wars and in civil policing actions for the United Nations etc. While at home our borders are not protected, but then; is it too late to protect them anyway. Not to mention loss of rights, invasion of privacy, and no jobs at home. All this while America is bringing our brand of democracy to the world. Well the way Obama has succeeded in socializing the American Republic, who wants our brand of immoral, outmoded, and lack luster brain trust of idiots who have thrown out the constitution?
But for an in-depth view of the last Presidential Debate 2012, the Heritage experts weighed in! Who are these experts, I have no idea. Who are any of those writers we read of anyway? The ones we do know are biased and are not afraid to show it; need I mention ABC, CBC, CNN, NBC, and Fox news who ran this; etc! Plus the myriad of left leaning newspapers sided with the New world order big pocket nemesis spenders who consistently work to influence this nation away from the constitution.

The Real Reason Oil Imports Are Down
President Obama touted that oil imports to the United States have decreased “to the lowest level in two decades because we’ve developed oil and natural gas.” Oil imports are down, in part because of increased domestic oil production, but those increases are coming from private and state lands. Production on federal lands fell in fiscal year FY 2011 when compared to FY 2010. Oil imports have also fallen because Americans don’t fill up their gas tanks when they don’t have a job to drive to every day. The sluggish economy has reduced the demand for oil, which is certainly nothing to be proud of. President Obama also said we need to further cut imports by investing in clean technologies, but it’s important to remember that investing in wind and solar and renewable sources won’t reduce our dependence on foreign oil, because about 1 percent of our electricity comes from oil. And if electric vehicles, natural gas vehicles, or biofuels are economically viable alternatives to gas-powered vehicles, we won’t need government investments in those technologies. Jobs on the Home FrontObama talks of turning our attention to home, including bringing our veterans home. But there are no jobs for them at home, with unemployment hovering stubbornly around 8 percent and job creation well below what is needed to grow the economy. Building up our roads and bridges won’t create new jobs. America’s workers need more than the same failed stimulus policies to grow the economy. Rather, the President needs to make sure Taxmageddon does not occur and get control of the budget.– Alison Fraser
