Through “spirit led” fruits; here ‘Patience’; we possess our souls, hold onto it; make sure our body, mind, and soul are subject to the Word of God as we conform and believe in these last days.

Patience Endurance as given by our Lord on the endtimes; we are given what it will be like in the world. This setting is in the nations; it is not a national thing, a race thing, a culture thing, or a religious thing.

Israel is delivered from Egypt. Israel has seen the Lord fulfill his promise to Abraham. Now Israel is getting to Know God, but here; we find a warning, “not so close or you will die”. The children of Israel are to sanctify themselves three days and approach the mount of God. There they would meet God, see him come down upon the mount, and talk to Moses.

Israel Contending with the LORD in Deliverance

Israel, her own people; proved to be their own worst enemy. Israel out of bondage, yet flesh and carnal minds bound by years of Egyptian influence had to be removed. As in all of us, the world and the flesh must go.

Lord led Israel the “longer way around”, lest Israel “i.e. the people change their minds” when faced with war. It was imperative to the Lord to get Israel out! Israel did not have this same idea in regard to this, for many times they wanted to go back to Egypt.

For some time now, the main battle has not even been about magicians, conjuring magic against the LORD and his anointed, no; it has been about the Pharaoh hardening his heart. It all rests on this one person, Pharaoh who will bring suffering to his people for his own refusal to humble himself and let Israel go.
