D Day For America Preface:
Preface:
I sat looking out over the small valley before me. This was my secret place, a time and a place I sat aside for the Lord. It is a habit, which I continue to do today. Over time I have seen many different kinds of days here in this place. Nestled beneath a mountain on my right were ranches and livestock grazing in the morning crispness. A small valley lay before me, with mountains running along the horizon to the south. A quiet place, not much traffic, with only the Word of the Lord, which I was reading and my journal with notes from those things the Holy Spirit enlightened me with.
I remember distinctly on this day the reading through the prophets I had done. My mind was reviewing it all, my heart entwining itself around the Words of the Lord. They had hit hard, these Words written by Hebrew prophets so long ago. What made them so powerful, here where I was, so many years later. How can such words be so real, so real you could almost reach out and touch them? There is only one answer, the Holy Spirit. These are the Words of God spoken on the pages of eternity. This book is only my copy of them.. You could take all copies of the bible and burn them, but it won’t change these words in the reality of Gods speaking them. No amount of ignoring them will prepare you for eternity. God will always have a word for us, His creation. God will always reveal to us His ways and our paths we must walk in.
Ever since God awakened me to a new burning fervor for Him, I had heard His voice time and again about this judgment coming upon America. But this time, I was in sheer pain of it all. It seemed so real. I looked out on the scene before me, so quiet and restful, yet within my soul burned this message. God was going to judge America. America as Israel and so many other countries had done, will fall. As tears ran down my face, I looked up, my heart bursting from this message. I was now looking into the faces of four horses. I had never seen them here, but here they were. The four horsemen of the apocalypse represented the terrors of the tribulation and the last days. Now as I had finished my own daily studies of the prophets, verses gripped my heart that America was in danger. Everywhere I read, I saw America in the Word of the Lord. This gripped me for days, then weeks, then months. Years have past since that day, but the message still grips my heart and I still see those horses as I saw on that day. The feeling of sadness, heartbreak, and terror along with gladness and joy for knowing God seemed to conflict. Yet, for those of us who love the Lord with all our heart, must know, our calling is not of this world. That judgment will come, even to America, sooner or later. There is coming a time for Gods judgment upon all nations and peoples, tribes, and tongues. God is no respecter of persons. His is a righteous judgment upon all people, with no regard to country, race, origin, sex, or status. God will judge. It is coming. We are not ready.
But this book does not lay chapter after chapter of proof for this judgment on America. I take this judgment as coming as fact. I lay out those things, that over the years in seeking the Lords heart on this matter, He has put in my heart. In this book you find many bible verses. All verses in the King James Version. If it is another version, It will be reference below with a footnote. I discuss in this book those things that show a nation in love with its idols and out of touch with Gods will. We move from the aspects of a national judgment on America, which we take as a fact as coming, to those in the church. It is in these chapters we discuss our goals, what God expects of us, how God helps us, and the hope we have in Him. Through this all, we see a refining ‘smelter of God’ for those in the church. We look at those who walk in rebellion to God in the church, those we call the ‘sons of disobedience’ and are headed toward being ‘children of wrath’. We then look at the ‘child of obedience’, he who walks in union with His God and the call on his life as a follower of Christ. I believe those things coming; will make the heart of men quiver, and his knees shake with fear. That is, unless you are in union with your God. In the midst of the storm, there you will find the shelter of God. Yes, the storm is coming, but, God will meet with you there. It is in this midst of trials, we who are in the church, those who love God, will find our deepest comfort from Him the God of all comfort. We were born for such a time as this. The harvest is upon us, the ‘smelter of God’ lay ahead. Let us proceed upon our journey and discover, this the D-day for America.

D Day For America: Introduction
Psalms 33
18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
20 Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.
21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
22 Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
In the quietness of his thoughts a lone four star general paces back and forth. His thoughts are on all the events that led Him here. This was His moment of decision. His officers were waiting for the go ahead. Many thousands more were in a holding pattern. These were like a viper in coiled action ready to strike. Problems had arisen and they had to postpone what many thought was inevitable. The society of the free world was at stake. In the history of man, there had never been such a time as this. The general weighed all options, looking out the window; the skies veiled what would be the most honored hour in all the free world. It all lay in the balance of one mans decision. In these moments, the heart beats loud, the pulse quickens, and the perspiration continues. It is times like these, that responsibility presses its heavy weight directly upon ones shoulders. It is a lone, quiet, heart wrenching choice that must be made. At the door a knock, the general pauses and invites the person in. All eyes on him, the general moves his head up and down and speaks the words to go ahead. Shortly after 12am, June 6, 1944, airborne troops began dropping into enemy territory along the coast of France. By nightfall on that same day nearly 175,000 allied troops had crossed the English Channel and landed in Normandy. It was the largest sea to land invasion ever known to man in the history of war. The plan had worked and General Eisenhower with all the various parties was glad it had worked. This was and is known to day as D-Day.
This was a day of decision to go ahead and a day of dread for the enemy. The Nazi machine of terror would end. This evil with all its tentacles would be crushed by the righteous ongoing effort of people united in a common cause. Many soldiers were killed in the invasion and course of the war. Much blood, the precious and holy commodity that God gives us to stay alive, would be shed. Life is in the blood and when you shed your blood for another, there is no greater sacrifice.
I have set the title for this book as D-day for America. There is coming a time soon when this country will face the most tremendous upheaval in its history. The course of nations is set by the Lord himself. The Lord has revealed to all nations that He is the God of all, a God to be feared, a God whose standards must be followed.
Now listen to the Word of the Lord for the nations of men, thus the Lord speaks:
Psalm 33
8 Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
9 For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast. 10 The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.
11 The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. 13The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men. 14From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth. 15He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works. 16There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
17 An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.
To those who trust in Him, He speaks:
Psalm 33:
18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
This subject is one that has driven me to prayer and intercession for America and the nations of men. It still does. The subject is one that has driven me to read, research, and review even those things I think the Lord has told me. It is a subject of which I live daily, every day, all day. It is a subject of which I have struggled with and as in scripture it has been both sweet and bitter. Just like drop of honey on the tongue which is sweet so is the word of God. That is until you realize that sour feeling in your stomach.
Revelation 10:10 And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
Yes, the Lord has given you a word. This word becomes a burden and it is bitterness to deliver, for no one wants to hear it. Both Ezekiel and John found the sweetness of the word, along with the bitterness of it. The world doesn’t want to hear warnings from God through those who believe they have heard from the Lord. In the past preachers have known the sweetness of the call and burden of the word they must speak. They realize that not everyone will receive this word. Sadly, though, many preachers today speak only honey with no burden or bitterness of the judgment of God. No speaking to the sins and need to repent.
Through Jeremiah and other prophets, God warned His people Israel, so today, God is warning America and the nations. These warnings are meant to bring a Godly fear and reverence to men. They are meant to bring change in the hearts of men through the convicting power of the Holy Ghost. Men and women, boys and girls, are given the chance to gain wisdom and understanding.
Here is an example of such a word of warning given to Israel by Jeremiah. For twenty three years this early warning was given to Israel.
Jeremiah 25:
3 From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, even unto this day, that is the three and twentieth year, the word of the LORD hath come unto me, and I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye have not hearkened.
4 And the LORD hath sent unto you all his servants the prophets, rising early and sending them; but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear.
5 They said, Turn ye again now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the LORD hath given unto you and to your fathers for ever and ever.
Now I am not a prophet, but one who has been given a message. I am not the first one; the Lord has been warning this nation for along time. The problem, we as a nation have been enamored with this world. To be more specific, we have been captivated by our country and its many assets.
Therefore, the message, though prophetic, is one of hope, one of Gods love, one for you to take and ponder. It is a message that hopefully, will cause you to awaken to God and serve him with a more fervent heart than before.
There are many out there that await the judgment on America. I do not wait anxiously, or look forward to the judgment that is coming. For some, America is a prize to be had. As she lies like a wounded beast, or even lay dead like a carcass, the words of Jesus Christ come to us loud and clear. Even though, this scripture doesn’t pertain to America, yet the idea of it does.
Matt 24:28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
For many, sadly, their own interests will push them to gather around the carcass of America for their own good. To take and devour as they wish. The problem for them is, God granted us this country, God alone will judge this nation, and God alone will bring us down, if it is His will. No amount of eagles (those who devour and take) will out strip Gods justice in this matter. His will be done first and foremost in America, Amen.
Now this book is neither about dates nor setting them. I do not intend to make lengthy diatribes to convince you America is going to be judged (along with other nations). That this judgment is coming, and soon is all I will say. I take it as a fact, revealed to me by the Lord. Some will believe, others will not, it’s their choice. This book is not about finding fault with America, listing her sins in detail, nor listing the sins of the church. This book is about, the rejoicing nation as in chapter one. It is about Babylon and lessens learned. . It is about blood guiltiness and the pursuit of God upon those who delve into it. It is about the paramount wickedness and shroud of wretchedness that veils America’s landscape. But it is also about the refining of the church of God, those blood washed, born again saints who are in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is about our mission, Gods call to us. It is about realizing Gods covenant to us and His provision to the church in the midst of this evil day. It is a warning to the sons of disobedience, but a hope to the sons of obedience. It gives ample scripture and if you have a problem with Gods word, that is your problem. I believe it, it’s that simple. You can or not believe. Its your choice.
For years I, along with my wife had struggled with God’s call. I had argued with God, and my rebellion affected my whole family. But God in His mercy corrected me and brought me to a point of proper standing. Along with me, the Lord moved on my wife’s heart, healed our lives and those of our children. Then in His mercy my eyes were opened more to His truth. The Lord had gotten a hold of our hearts (my wife and I) and turned us back on fire to seek Him. I remind you of the words of a great general in world war 2.
“History fails to record a single precedent in which nations subject to moral decay have not passed into political and economic declines. There has either been a spiritual awakening to overcome the moral lapse, or an ultimate national disaster.”
- General Douglas MacArthur
In these last days if you are hoping in this country, in our politicians, in our way of life, in those around you, then you are in trouble. There is only one voice you should be listening to. I know that voice. It can be a rod of correction, a balm of Gilead, a bread of life, water to the soul, a rock to hold on to. You can be sheltered in His arms and be held under His wings, trusting in Him till the storm passes. There is one thing I know, that is, God never gives up on us. His mercy and grace are there till the very end. Only by our refusing His offer, do we face the wrath of God. Paul speaks about a ‘Living Hope, a Lively Hope’ in Christ Jesus. I know about this lively hope in Christ. Years went by as I stood against Gods purpose for me. I have known stubbornness, guilt, trouble, darkness, despair, unbelief, and being not where God wants me to be. I also know of that place in the shelter of His wings, in the secret place of the Most High, where His mercy is found. It is there you will need to be in the upcoming storm. It will be a place, a time such as this for God to be revealed in you. A time of tremendous trouble, one Paul calls perilous times. You are in them now. It will be a time of knowing that lively hope. For your hope must be alive, well, in touch with the master, abiding in Him. It will then be a true lively hope. There is only one voice that you will need to hear. In the midst of all those voices, all those personal man desires, in the midst of schemes of men, there lies the heart of God yearning to bring you unto Himself, calling come unto me all ye that are weary and heavy laden.. That is the voice we must be listening to.
